Liberty Ships: How American Shipyards Saved Britain In WWII | War Factories
On the 27th September 1941 a new kind of ship was being unveiled at the Baltimore docks. They were called Liberty Ships. Playing a key role in WWII, they carried two thirds of all US cargo, helping the allies win the war.
