On the world of Prysmos, a mysterious celestial alignment slams advanced technology into chaos, forcing society to revert to ancient sorcery. The wizard Merklynn issues a gauntlet: a quest to his shrine on Iron Mountain. Fourteen knights—driven by honor or ambition—answer the call and become Visionaries, split into two factions: the noble Spectral Knights and the scheming Darkling Lords. Each knight gains an animal-based totem and, in some cases, a magic staff powered by verse. Both sides must undertake Merklynn’s quests and confront each other in battles woven with transformation, mystical imps, and shifting alliances. In this world without machines, only magic—and the strength of conviction—will determine the future of Prysmos.
