Furious with his family trying to stop his marriage with Aprajita, Malay gets furious with them. He warns his family that he will get married to Aprajita, come what may, and asks those who are against the marriage to stay away. He further asks Renu and Veda to leave his house. Kumkum later requests Renu to stay in the house as she had promised to protect Malay from Aprajita. But Renu feels that she has some responsibility towards her daughter as well and feels that she should leave after the insult caused by Malay.
