Ende Juni 1943 - Nach seiner Verwundung befindet sich Otto in der Heimat im Genesungsurlaub. Dort verbringt er Zeit mit seiner Verlobten Luise. Doch schon bald muss Otto zurück an die Front.
End of June 1943 - After being wounded, Otto is on convalescent leave at home. There he spends time with his fiancee Luise. But soon Otto must return to the front.
