Rocky keeps interrupting Val while he's entertaining Lola at home so he gives Rocky the night off. Through a flashback Val explains to Lola how Rocky came to live with him how he saved his life in Korea. It eventually becomes clear that Val saved Rocky's life. When confronted with the truth Rocky says he never said he saved Val's life but only told Val, ""The life you save is yours.""
