Tsunami is an ancient guardian from days long past, when the Mother Spirit created Daemons and Guardians to aid a fledgling human race. Tsunami becomes involved with a woman who has just lost both her fiancé and her arm—and now seeks to understand why this tragedy happened. Meanwhile, the Daemon leader still lives and is plotting to enslave humanity. Will Tsunami rise to defend Earth once again, or will he be corrupted like the two other Guardians who fell under the Daemon leader’s influence?
