The opening ceremony of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest will broadcast live from Mariyinsky Palace in Kyiv. All 42 countries and the hosts will enter the red carpet and be interviewed by press from all over Europe and beyond. The opening ceremony marks the start of the Eurovision Song Contest weeks.
At 18:00 CEST today, the Blue Carpet ceremony for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest will take place in front of the MAAT (Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia) in Lisbon. Eurovision.tv will be there to cover the event on our live blog, and you can watch the entire programme live on our YouTube channel.
The Opening Ceremony event will take place in Tel Aviv on Sunday the 12th of May where all 41 artists will walk the orange carpet on Habima Square.
On Sunday 8 May participants from 40 countries will walk the Turquoise Carpet in Turin for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 Opening Ceremony. Don't miss all the glitz, glam, glitter and gossip from the iconic Reggia di Venaria (Venaria Palace) from 16:00 CEST.
