Big Bear California, tucked in the heart of the San Bernardino mountains, this premiere ski location is also the home of some of Southern California's most Legendary locations for high elevation off-roading. The Trail to SEMA crew scales Gold Mountain as they test their vehicles against the endless rock gardens on John Bull Trail, the jewel in Big Bear's "Crown of Trails".
Our second day in Big Bear leads our convoy through Holcombe creek trail for a scenic day in a canyon filled with autumn vistas, a few obstacles, and slippery conditions that prove to be a challenge for a few members of the team when their competitive nature leads to a major break.
The Trail to SEMA crew enters the Jeep-destroying terrain of Johnson Valley, CA. Home of the annual King of the Hammers race, and some of the nastiest wheeling in the United States. Our convoy tests their vehicles on Sledgehammer one of the premier sections of the Ultra 4 raceway.

Sand Hollow, UT is a Labyrinth of rock. With it's you see it, you crawl it mentality, all of Sand Mountain becomes a playground for our convoy. We shake things up and try not to get lost in The Maze as we run it backward.

Join the 2018 Power Stop Trail to SEMA crew as we meet up in Grand Junction, CO. We meet up for a quick bite and then our annual beadlock building party in our hotel parking lot before a good night's sleep before we spend a day on 21 Road. The beadlock party takes a turn as Ian Johnson and Matt from Bleepin Jeep put together a friendly wager regarding the strength of Matt's Dana 44's now that he has a set of 40" sticky Maxxis Trepador Competition tires on Vision Wheel Manx Beadlocks. Matt is an experienced driver and has trussed and gusseted his front TJ D44 and equipped it with RCV Axles shafts so he is confident that he will win. Before we head to the trail we make our annual breakfast pilgrimage to Trailhead Coffee in Grand Junction. 21 Road is a mostly granite trail with big boulders and some unexpected wet conditions which created a slippery situation for some of our attendees. Luckily we had a great trail leader borrowed from the Unlimited LJ Adventure in his more than capable yellow LJ "Minion". Along the way, you'll meet all of the new players that you may not already know from prior years on the trail with us.
