週刊誌ライターの主人公・碧（あおい）は、事件の犯人が高校の同級生ではないかと気付き、疎遠になっていたかつての仲間たちと再会。誰が、なぜ、事件を起こしたのか。高校時代を回想しながら、真相を追いかけていく。その中で鮮明な記憶として甦るのは、文化祭の日に起きたある事件。過去と現在、それぞれの事件が繋がり“真実”が紐解かれる、群像サスペンス。
