We meet the guys enrolled in the first UK version of Tool Academy. Among them is a "Temper Tool", a man who gets angry very easily; "Stoner Tool" a boyfriend who smokes weed all the time; and "Randy Tool" a guy who cheats on his girlfriend during the show, by taking another lady into the toilets of a club.
The relationship boot camp competition continues. With Rick Edwards leading the physical competitions and Dr Sandra Scott pushing commitment and fidelity lessons in the classroom, no Tool will leave the Academy unchanged. There are now 10 Tools left in the Academy and in this show they learn about trust and face their worst nightmare - the lie detector test. Some explosive results send shockwaves through the Academy as another Tool bites the dust.
This episode is all about fidelity. The big day has arrived for our eight remaining Tools as they are made to write some heartfelt wedding vows before escorting their other halves up the aisle in a mock wedding ceremony. Will nerves get the better of them? What happens when they find out the wedding is not for real? It ends far from happily ever after for randy Tool Liam when footage of the boys behaving badly on a night out is revealed to girlfriend Toni. Once fidelity lessons are complete, host Rick Edwards reveals who's still on course to graduate and win the £25,000 prize - and who's going home a Tool.
The Tools learn all about romance in an emotional therapy session led by Dr Sandra Scott; the lessons end with a no-holds-barred sex education class. Our heroes also decide to mark their experience on the show by getting matching Tool Academy tattoos, and there is a shock twist at expulsion time when Rick Edwards reveals who's still on course to graduate and win the £25,000 prize and who's going home.
The competition continues and this week's lesson are about loss and maturity. Plus there's a physical and mental marathon to face in the form of ex-US Special Forces Commander Mykel Hawke.
Grunts and groans won't make the grade this week because lesson is communication, and as the stakes get higher, the lessons get tougher. After coming face-to-face with their deepest relationship issues, the Tools must now deal with an unforgiving jury made up of their former Tool Academy classmates. What begins as a harmless movie night turns into a drama of epic proportions, and it's down to the old contestants to decide each Tool's fate in the Academy. Only three will survive this final expulsion and carry on in the competition with the hope of claiming the £25,000 prize.
The girls were required to build a kennel whilst the tools were dressed as dogs and tethered to a post. Once the kennel was built and painted, the tool was required to enter the kennel to finish the task.
The tools each wrote their girlfriends a romantic poem, which they then had to perform while dressed in rusty suits of armour.
The tools' girlfriends were required to sit in gunge tanks. The tools were then asked questions about their girlfriends. For every question incorrectly answered, a bucket of fish slime was put into the tank above their girlfriends' heads. The tools were required to hold onto a rope keeping the trapdoors open, and their girlfriends dry.
The tools and their girlfriends were required to take part in an all-weather kissathon. If they failed to adhere to the rules or stopped kissing, they were out.
The tools and their girlfriends were required to jointly go on a treature hunt, with each of the three treasures having a different requirement, such as the tools being mute, the tools and their girlfriends being back to back and wearing an outfit which required them to move as one. The team that came back first and started a fire won.
The tools and their girlfriends had to take part in an obstacle course meant to represent the 6 stages of a relationship.
They had to work their way around all the stools in a village fete, with games such as welly throwing and splat the rat and collect tokens to become winners.
Two women are nominated by their partners who have become fed up of their behaviour.
Psychiatrist Sandra Scott asks the girlfriends to reveal their five-year plans, before showing them footage of their partners' hopes for the future. The ten disgraced boyfriends must then save their other halves from being splattered by rotten tomatoes, and the first contestant is sent home
The couples focus on trust, with the men sent to meet a psychic who tells them she will delve into the darkest corners of their minds to uncover any unsavoury secrets they have been keeping. Tears and tantrums are the order of the day when they return to the classroom, as a series of shocking admissions reveals exactly who has been unfaithful.
The couples discover a pair of contestants are actually moles, reporting their every action to the show's bosses and stirring up trouble among the camp. The girlfriends are also shown more footage from the Man Games challenge, and survival expert Myke Hawke returns to the Academy to teach the Tools how to properly embrace their masculinity.
The disgraced boyfriends are challenged to rate their partners, which leads to some uncomfortable confessions. They also receive advice from a tantric expert and perform a lap-dance for their girlfriends in a bid to win a night with them. Two contestants leave the academy as one couple decide the experience is too much
The boyfriends are challenged to prove their communication skills by writing a love song and performing it on stage with their partners, in the style of famous chart-topping duos such as Jay-Z and Beyonce, and Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. Another tool is then eliminated from the contest in this week's expulsion
The boyfriends are taken on a trip to a morgue and asked to imagine life without their girlfriends. The emotional strain drives one to propose to his partner, and another expulsion leaves three to go through to the final and move a step closer to the £25,000 prize
The boyfriends are challenged to remain on their best behaviour as they witness local men trying to seduce their girlfriends. The boys also face their last chance to prove they have changed for the better when their in-laws arrive at the Academy, and the winner is announced
Celebrating the greatest Tools and Toolish behaviour, this show takes a nostalgic look back at some of the favourites from years gone by. Rick Edwards hosts from his own Spanish bar, 'El Toolio Taverna', where he is visited by former Tools and their girlfriends. The night showcases the very best bust-ups, guilt-ridden bad behaviour and outrageous tasks, while Rick finds out who's got hitched, who's called time on their relationships, who's got a restraining order out, and who is still on, off, on again.
