Ichigo tries to talk to Ryou about the problems caused by her cat genes, but he ignores her. On the way to school, Ichigo changes into a cat again and gets in trouble, but is saved by Alto who also kisses her to change her back to normal. Despite his struggling, Ichigo picks him up and is shocked when he suddenly changes into Ryou. After school, she goes to the café where Keiichiro tells her the history of the Mew Project, which was started by Ryou's father. After his parents were killed by an ancient chimera anima, Ryou decided to continue his father's research. Wanting to be sure the merging process was safe, he tested it by merging himself with cat genes. This gave him the ability to change into a cat at will, but only for 10 minutes at a time or he will remain a cat permanently. Ichigo promises to do her best as a Mew Mew.
Strawberry continua a avere problemi con la sua trasformazione in un gatto e per tale ragione chiede aiuto a Ryan, il quale però la ignora. Durante il suo tragitto a scuola, Strawberry scopre che Alto altro non è che Ryan. Incuriosita si fa dare spiegazioni da Kyle. Quest'ultimo le spiega che il progetto Mew incominciò proprio con il padre di Ryan. Dopo un terribile accidente che coinvolse i genitori di Ryan, la ricerca fu portata avanti dal ragazzo, il quale per accertarsi che la metamorfosi fosse sicura decise di iniettarsi lui stesso il gene del gatto. Ciò gli diede il potere di trasformarsi in gatto ma solo per 10 minuti.
最近ことあるごとにネコ化してしまういちごは、変身を解くために小動物とキスしようとしたところ、犬に襲われ大ピンチに…！！そんないちごを救ったのは、またしてもネコのアルトだった。いちごは、いつも助けてくれるお礼をしようとしたところ、突然アルトの体が光だす。そして人の姿に変わったアルトの正体は、なんと白金だった！！ギクシャクしてしまった２人を心配した赤坂さんは、いちごに白金の過去について話す。考古学者であった白金の父は、未確認生物の研究を秘密裏に行っていた。だが、皮肉な事に研究対象であったキメラアニマに白金の両親は殺されてしまったのだった。そんな父親の跡を継ごうとあらかじめ博士の研究を記憶していた白金少年は、日本に渡り、μプロジェクト（ミュープロジェクト）を完成し、安全性を確認するため動物化してしまう事を承知の上で遺伝子を自らの体に打ち込んだのだった。そんな白金の真剣な想いに答えるべく、がんばろうと改めて思ういちごであった。
