Ken Archer (Mark Kingston) has worked for the same company for 33 years. Then, one day, he's suddenly told that he is about to be made redundant.To make a bad day even worse, Ken's wife Joan (Amanda Barrie) tells him that she is leaving him for a man 20 years younger.Things continue to go from bad to worse as Kern is subsequently mugged, taken hostage, arrested and committed to an asylum.
