天才少女林知夏（田曦薇饰）性格直接、不善交际，从小没有好友。考入省一中后，她因解题比拼与性格阳光的学霸江逾白（胡一天饰）相识并成为同桌。作为社交达人的江逾白帮林知夏融入集体交到汤婷婷（赵嘉敏饰）、段启言（夏浩然饰）、沈负暄（赖伟明饰）、金百慧（安沺饰）等朋友，林知夏为表达感谢帮他补习功课，两人渐渐从竞争走向互助，最终成为最好的朋友。俩人还一同解决同学被骗、一起参加社团活动与省数学竞赛，在这个过程中，江逾白对林知夏感情渐生，但只把爱意埋在心里。林知夏被保送复旦后，江逾白准备在毕业之旅对她告白，却因母亲卷入诈骗案而遗憾离开，俩人最终能否冲破阻碍走到一起 [7]。
