Instead of risking him getting custody of their daughters, she chose to drown them in the bathtub before attempting to take her own life. An attempt that failed.
On March 24th, 2015, Mitchelle Blair was served an eviction notice at her rented townhouse in Detroit, Michigan. Blair was not home, so a crew entered the residence and began removing furniture. When they got to a white chest freezer in the living room, they found the body of a teenage girl inside. When police arrived, they discovered the body of a younger boy underneath the girl in the same freezer. It turned out that Blair had killed two of her children and stored their bodies in a freezer in the living room for more than two years.
On February 20th, 2016, Morgan Lawrence came home from work to an empty house and a message from her husband, Ryan. He had taken their 21-month-old daughter, Maddox, and disappeared. He took her out to a rural area where he crushed her head with a baseball bat and set her body on fire before he put her body in a bag and threw it in Onandaga Creek.
