Four top artists act as "coaches" and participate in the "blind audition" where they sit with their backs turned to the stage, ensuring no influence from appearance, attire, or age. They solely evaluate the vocalists' voices. If a vocalist passes, their chair rotates, allowing the coach to finally see them. Each coach selects four vocalists, aiming to discover and nurture exceptional talents who will become the next generation's "voice" in Japan.
Four top artists who have selected four vocalists each in the "Blind Audition" become actual "coaches" and begin providing guidance on singing techniques and stage performance. Sugashikao is joined by Okano Akihito from Porno Graffitti as an advisor. After the coaching process, the next stage awaits: the "Battle Round"! The coaches create four pairs with their chosen vocalists, and each pair performs a song together. The coaches themselves must decide which of the two performers will advance to the "Final Show"... a challenging decision they must make. Who will be the eight vocalists to overcome this trial and reach the Final Show?!
Out of the eight vocalists selected by the coaches to compete in the "Final Show" of "The Voice Japan," only one will claim the title.
