GENESIS 13 Man, as a creature in relationship to his Creator, has fallen from a place of dignity, humility and dependence to a state of depravity, pride and rebellion. Apart from Christ, we are powerless to overcome sin, and our attempts to control it only increase our chaos.
MARK 7:14-23 God lovingly intervened into our chaos by providing a remedy for the insanity of sin and the way back into fellowship with Him. We came to believe that, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we can be redeemed.
2 CORINTHIANS 7:10 In response to the Holy Spirit illuminating our desperate and helpless condition before God and igniting the living hope that comes through the resurrecting power of Jesus Christ, we step out in faith and repent as act of worship and obedience, entrusting our lives to Christ.
ROMANS 8:15-17 Now as children of God, armed with the Holy Spirit, and standing firm in the gospel, we engage in the spiritual battle over the reign and rule of our hearts.
GALATIANS 5:19-23 We cannot overcome the effects of sin independent of God, but He has provided the way to overcome sin and its effects through the gospel of Jesus Christ. In Christ, we display His supremacy and victory over evil as we arise over sin, shame and even death.
GENESIS 2:18-25 Beyond action alone, God looks deeper to the desires and motivations of the heart. Only through the gospel will God align our hearts with His purposes.
MATTHEW 6:25-34 In our fear and anxiety, the call is to cry out to him, to trust him and run to promise of redemption found in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
EPHESIANS 2:1-10 We renounce our former ways, offer ourselves to God, and under the waterfall of His grace, ask Him to deliver and heal us by the authority of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:11-21 As those forgiven by God, we can humbly approach those who have been affected by our sin and make amends. This change of heart brings glory to God by demonstrating the power of the gospel and reflecting the heart of God.
MATTHEW 18:15-17 As ambassadors of Christ, we are to be instruments of grace as we confront sin and extend forgiveness. We always forgive from our hearts when we are sinned against by handing offenses over to God.
COLOSSIANS 3:1-17 Since He is our ultimate joy, peace and pleasure, we seek to know Him and fill ourselves with those things that stir our affections for Him. We practice spiritual disciplines so that our hearts might stay in rhythm with His.
MATTHEW 5:2-16 Before the foundations of the earth, God chose us, the Church, to live as instruments of His grace to a lost and dying world, bearing witness to His wisdom and power through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The book of Revelation—John’s letter to the churches of Asia Minor—is full of prophecy, poetry, and promise. Despite the mystery that surrounds it, this final book in the canon of Scripture is an incredibly hope-filled picture of a coming battle that has already been won.
REVELATION 2-3 John pens the words of Jesus directed at seven specific churches, the theme of each a constant call to faithfulness.
REVELATION 4-5 With the churches addressed, John’s gaze turns toward God on His throne, a majestic sight that demands surrender and submission.
REVELATION 6:1–8:1 The ultimate meaning of history is revealed as John witnesses the Lamb open the scroll. Mystery moves toward fulfillment.
REVELATION 8:2–11:19 Idols which were once revered on earth turn to destroy their worshipers as God enacts His justice. John receives a bittersweet message of judgment and mercy.
REVELATION 12 The unseen war behind all wars is won as the sower of deceit is thrown from heaven. A desperate and defeated Enemy turns his attention to the people of God.
REVELATION 13 A false Trinity attempts to mimic holy God but falls short of His glory. The saints are called to endure.
REVELATION 14 The Lamb stands with His army of saints as the harvest of earth is reaped.
REVELATION 15–16 John catches another glimpse at the throne before the wrath of God is poured out on the earth.
REVELATION 17:1–19:10 A mysterious woman appears, but her true nature is revealed and her downfall is assured.
REVELATION 19:11–20:15 A meal is shared, a millennium unfolds, and Death is defeated forever.
REVELATION 21–22 Promises are fulfilled. Every wrong is made right. God reigns eternal.
