明朝中叶，天灾为患，湘北灾民等待朝廷发放的三十万两救济金，救命！三十万两黄金赴运，却被神秘人夺去，不知所踪，整个事件震惊朝野！能力挽狂澜的，竟是一个无业潦倒、醉酒终日的离歌笑（霍建华 饰）。谁也不知这个沧桑堕落的男人就是当年让五湖十六帮都闻风丧胆的“锦衣卫第一神捕”，但因遭受陷害痛失爱妻后变得酗酒放浪。大义当前，离歌笑重新振作，答应多年不见的挚友为寻救济金重出江湖与轻功盖世的燕三娘（刘诗诗 饰）、擅长易容的贺小梅（马天宇 饰）和武功了得的柴胡（释行宇 饰），组建成侠客四人组“一枝梅”行走江湖。自此，“一枝梅”四人生死相交，以梅花为记，坚守正义，活跃在民间，为百姓解决疑难事件......
