I take an in-depth (perhaps too in-depth) look at a dedicated speech synthesis computer from Arkenstone. I bought this back in 2010 for around $200 on eBay. I've been wanting to make a video about this computer since then, but I've always hesitated on starting the project because it's really dry subject matter which only reminds me of the frustration of programming DecTalk for singing using MS-DOS. Here's the video anyway, detailing everything there is to know about this machine. If i can ever get it's original hard disk working and bootable, ill showcase the Windows 3.11 DecTalk tools. ... If they even exist or, much less, work.
