Mark has been operating at the top of his game for quite some time. His success on the streets has allowed him to move out the hood and in to a gentrified section of downtown Brooklyn. After taking a huge unexpected hit, he has lost everything. We find him fresh from a trip out of town(O.T)that didn't go as he expected. He is trying to climb his way back up the treacherous ladder to the top but collides with obstacle after obstacle as he must try to maintain the costly roof over his head, while figuring out where the unexpected hit came from and whom out of those closest to him he can trust.
Still trying to bounce back from his losses, Mark has been slowly making his way back up, as product has been moving well out of town(O.T). Keeping his housing issue under wraps, he attends court in hopes of buying himself some time. Troy asks for a favor that Mark can only deliver through Dame while an altercation tightens the bond between the two.
Having been offered the white at Dame's number, Mark leaves the O.T situation to Nate to handle so that he can focus on building his clientele in N.Y. A childhood friend is released from prison after doing fifteen years and he and Mark confront some past issues at a welcome home gathering and Chubbs reacts prematurely to a misunderstanding.
Nate needs a favor from Mark that doesn't sit well with Mya. Dame offers a proposition that will help financially but require Mark to expose himself, and a situation with Nina may cause Mark to have to find another way to get his work O.T.
Mark discovers why Nate has been arrested and finds himself at odds about it. Chubbs needs a favor as a jam puts a running clock on Dame. While Mark’s relationship with Nina takes an interesting turn.
After almost getting caught slipping, Mark is now on defense mode. Troy finally resurfaces and a chance encounter teaches Mark a little more about one of his neighbors.
A problem arises and opens Mark's eyes to something he may have been overlooking. An old friend from out of town pops up for a visit while an earlier problem appears to be sprouting in to an even bigger one.
As Dame finds a possible solution to the issue hanging over his head, another problem sprouts out of nowhere. Mark finds himself in a sticky situation as he is forced to put himself on the line to save someone. All the while trouble is brewing around him and the clock ticks as it all comes to a head in one big powder keg of danger.
