South Africa today has become the most violent democracy in the world. The police are frequently outnumbered and outgunned by experienced criminals, many of whom are militarily trained. A unit modeled after the SAS are now working with the police to cut down crime. They are called, the Special Task Force.

A 90 strong police unit is being used to tackle the countries most dangerous situations. They are known as the Special Task Force.
