When Rupaul was just starting her quest to become the Queen of All Media, she had her first show on Vh1 called "Rupaul's Party Machine." It was a simple concept that involved Rupaul giving light patter in front of a live audience as she introduced her favorite music videos (mainly from the past). This proved that Miss Charles had a knack for gab and Vh1 soon there transitioned the format from a music program to a talk show, retitling it "The Rupaul Show," The new program would mark one of the first times an openly LGBTQIA host would have their own National TV program. Michelle Visage, a radio personality and former singer, was the show's co-host. The show had many famous guests, including Cher, Diana Ross, Eartha Kitt, Olivia Newton-John. A real time capsule.
