Wie auch in anderen Ländern Europas startet das von New York beeinflusste Graffiti Writing in ganz Skandinavien mit der TV Ausstrahlung des Films ›Style Wars‹ (1984) von Henry Chalfant. Hunderte Kids aus Stockholm und ganz Schweden begeistern sich für die neue Bewegung und beginnen die Straßenwände zu verschönern. Zwei davon sind Ziggy und Disey, die Stockholm zu einer der aktivsten Graffitimetropolen machten.

À Stockholm mais aussi dans toute la Suède, des centaines de kids commencent alors à cartonner les murs. Parmi eux, ZIGGY et DISEY qui créent dès 1984 des graffiti de haut niveau stylistique.
The graffiti movement from New York spread throughout Scandinavia after the release of Henry Chalfant's film Style Wars (1984). Throughout the whole of Sweden, hundreds of kids begin to write on the walls. Among them, ZIGGY and DISEY, who developed their own elaborate styles.
