Maybel(Noelle Cameron) has a difficult home life with her Mom(Stacy Johnson) and Dad(William Thompson) but she tries to find the balance between work, school and taking care of her family. She runs into troubles at work with her creepy boss, Mr. Anderson(Mark White). Even as her friend Ella(Madison Sturges) tries to encourage her, she finds it increasingly difficult to make ends meet.
