In the first episode of “The Real Housewives of Auckland” former television presenter Louise Wallace invites three friends to a glamorous fashion show. Socialite Gilda Kirkpatrick, vineyard owner Julia Sloane and Angela Stone, fashion stylist. Things take a turn for the worse and Angela manages to upset the table. Julia invites them all to her birthday lunch at an exclusive Auckland restaurant, and invites along champagne importer Anne Batley Burton. Gilda brings along friend and former model Michelle Blanchard. Despite it being a happy occasion Angela is swiftly put in her place and it all ends in tears
Michelle decides she has got off on the wrong foot with the ladies at Julia’s birthday lunch and invites them all to dinner at her fabulous Coatesville mansion. Angela consults her Life Coach and decides Anne is in need of her styling advice. Best friends Michelle and Gilda meet up with their dogs to discuss the other ladies but Michelle’s dog has got other things on his mind. At the dinner party Julia reveals that she has heard some terrible gossip about Gilda.
After the dramas of her dinner party Michelle decides to meet with Angela to try and bury the hatchet once and for all. Meanwhile Julia tries out a “vampire facial”, the hottest new treatment in town. But instead of getting a youthful glow she gets it in the neck from Anne and Louise. All the ladies are invited to Anne’s fabulous Pussy Galore Party, Louise attempts to apologize to Gilda, but the others can’t seem to reconcile their differences.
After the dramas of the Pussy Party Michelle meets Angela to work things out but will they ever see eye to eye? Meanwhile Anne has a problem with a seagull, so it’s time to call in an animal psychic. Across town at a theatre workshop Julia and Louise face off. The ladies head to the country for drinks at Julia’s vineyard but will Louise attend? Angela and Gilda meet – can they ever be friends?
Louise has invited the girls on a luxury holiday to Port Douglas. Anne decides to have her first ever spray tan! The girls arrive at the resort to find they are sharing villas but who will room with who? The girls are having lots of fun in the sun and new friendships are forming. But on a beautiful boat trip they enter stormy waters when one drops an explosive comment that will change everything.
The Housewives are back in Auckland and regrouping after the fallout in Port Douglas. In an attempt to lighten the mood Michelle takes Anne to a hip hop class – with surprising results.
