A jury found former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty on all three charges stemming from the killing of the unarmed Black man, George Floyd, last year. Former NAACP President and CEO Cornell Brooks says the Chauvin verdict is progress but the fight is not over. Democratic Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey also spoke after the verdict and says while the verdict is a progressive step, racial discrimination continues to persist.
