Moderna Vaccine Approved, Hack Attack & Georgia Runoff

An influential Food and Drug Administration advisory panel overwhelmingly backed Moderna’s coronavirus vaccine, a key step paving the way to distribute the second Covid-19 vaccine in the United States next week. Small businesses have been hit hard due to the pandemic. But two retailers, OMG accessories, a lifestyle brand for kids, and luxury dog treats company Mishka, survived after making their products available to consumers online. Kate Rogers joins Shep Smith to discuss. Cybersecurity expert and former intelligence official Sue Gordon discusses the massive cyberattack conducted on U.S. systems by alleged Russian hackers. In January 2021, Georgia will face runoff elections to determine which party controls the U.S. Senate. But years ago, Georgia adopted the “county unit system,” which gave less populated but primarily white rural parts of the state more political power, disenfranchising black voters.
