Vaccine Rollout, Biden’s Health Policy & Waiting for Relief

This morning, 90-year-old Margaret Keenan became the first person in the world to receive a clinically tested and proven coronavirus vaccine. Once the Pfizer vaccine is approved in the U.S., it will be taken directly to hospitals. Later, the state facilities or pharmacy distribution centers will take the vaccines. Frank Holland joins Shep Smith to talk about how the vaccines will be distributed in the U.S. Dr. Jason Mitchell, Presbyterian Healthcare Services in New Mexico, addresses the extreme stress the hospital system in the state is experiencing due to increasing coronavirus cases after the Thanksgiving holiday. The FDA advisory committee will meet on Dec. 10 to review the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. CNBC’s senior health and science reporter joins Shep Smith with the details. The White House has proposed a $916 billion dollar coronavirus relief bill. Steven Mnuchin said he spoke with President Trump and presented it to the Speaker of the House this afternoon.
