Pfizer Vaccine, Boeing & Election Count

Pfizer and BioNTech says that a final data analysis found their coronavirus vaccine was 95% effective in preventing Covid-19 and appeared to fend off severe disease. Dr. Laura Forman, Kent Hospital chief of emergency medicine, says Rhode Island hospitals are running out of space as coronavirus cases continue to rise. She says the U.S. is at risk of running out of essential resources to combat Covid-19. President Donald Trump is still barring President-elect Joe Biden from receiving the classified intelligence and threat briefings typically given to presidents-elect. Still, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell pledged the presidential transition would be orderly. CNBC auto and airline industry reporter, Phil LeBeau, says Boeing’s 737 Max will soon fly again. The Federal Aviation Administration says changes in software, design, and training have made it safe to operate after two fatal crashes. Plus, migrant children, money mules and a relief bill.
