Bastian and Barktroll compete in the race. The first racer back to the Ivory Tower is the winner. However, Shadow Goblin and Vermin try to win the race by cheating and sabotage.
Tout le monde à Fantasia participe à «La Course» : même Gluckuck sur son escargot de course, monsieur Mâche-Pierre sur son vélo de pierre, Engywook dans sa machine volante, et le Messager sur Tessa, sa chauve-souris dormeuse. Bastien se joint à la course avec Buchtroll qui a choisi la monture la plus lente et la plus vieille de tout Fantasia. Tout se complique lorsque le Sombre Gobelin et Vermine entrent dans la course, éliminant chaque participant l'un après l'autre, en utilisant des tours malfaisants dans le but d'avoir le grand prix...
