Salvador is in shock. He receives a visit from an American lawyer, named Stein. Not only did he manage to discover the existence, and address, of the Ministry of Time, he threatens to take the organisation to court. The motive: Stein represents the rabi Levy, who in 1492 revealed the doors of time to D. João II. Since, years later, the rabi was burned at the stake by the Inquisition, Stein demands a restitution of 100 million euro in five days... or he will tell the whole world everything he knows about the greatest secret of the Portuguese state.

Não só conseguiu descobrir a existência, e a morada, do Ministério do Tempo, como ameaça colocar a organização em tribunal. Como, anos mais tarde, o rabino acabou queimado na fogueira da inquisição, Stein reclama uma indeminização de 100 milhões de euros... ou vai contar ao mundo inteiro tudo o que sabe sobre o maior segredo do Estado Português. O advogado dá a Salvador cinco dias para efetuar o pagamento.
