However, Agent Peregrine, an off-duty Minerva agent, was shopping for a movie rental at a local video rental store when another customer burst through the entrance and hastily returned a cassette tape saying it “needed to be destroyed immediately” before running out into the night. The agent rented this tape along with their original rentals, and reviewed the tape’s footage the following day. Upon review of the footage, Agent Peregrine immediately alerted the Eyrie Command Response Team to his station for emergency containment of the video tape. A review conducted by Eyrie Command audiovisual specialists has deemed the video to be a Monarch-class temporal anomaly, and Eyrie Command has declared that this footage is to be viewed with extreme caution. While no major ill effects should result from viewing this footage, it is recommended that a targeted memory-wipe treatment be followed after viewing the footage to reduce the likelihood of a causal loop being created in our timeline.
