DOCUMENTATION ON RECOVERED FOOTAGE Title: “PegaSys Neurolink v1.2 Promotional Video” Creator: PegaSys Innovations Date of Origin: 08/06/1996 Location of Origin: former PegaSys Innovations R&D Laboratory (Boston, Massachusetts) Recovery Date: 05/08/2019 Recovery Location: Archive vault in former PegaSys Innovations R&D Laboratory (Boston, Massachusetts) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION In the mid-1990s, PegaSys Innovations had announced they were going to release a product that would “dramatically revolutionize the telecommunications field” upon its commercial release. However, the product was shelved under mysterious circumstances mere days before the product’s unveiling to the public without comment from PegaSys Innovations on the matter. Even though the company would eventually recover from the significant profit loss that resulted from this sudden action, the company’s name would become slang in the technology community for hyping up a product that would never be released (i.e. “They really pulled a PegaSys on that one”), and would leave a stain on the company in the decades that followed. Speculation surrounding what the product might have been also stirred in the many years since the announcement, with hypotheses ranging from an early version of a 4G LTE network to a mere publicity stunt. However, during the relocation of the PegaSys Innovations R&D Laboratory from Boston to [REDACTED], the secretary of the CEO at the time, who was tasked with transporting items from the archive vault to the new lab space and was also a member of the Minerva Alliance, discovered a strange VHS tape in the vault that appeared to have not been touched in decades, and snuck it out of the vault to watch at her home. Upon viewing the tapes contents, she immediately turned over the footage to the Alliance for review.
