This week, Castle Leslie's award winning executive chef Noel McMeel puts student Stephen O'Connell to the test, handing him the role of head chef at Sir John Leslie's 90th birthday celebrations. Stephen is a sous chef in Cork city in his spare time, but he's certainly never had to pluck a pheasant or work on a fine dining menu before. Can he take on Noel's challenge and design a first class menu, take command of a crowded kitchen and present the meal to the lord of the manor with suitable aplomb?
