Eddie Stubbs started the show by introducing the guests and The Fabulous Superlatives, including steel guitar player Gary Carter from Connie's band, The Sundowners. Marty and the band were playing "La Tingo Tango" during the introductions. Eddie introduced Marty and His Fabulous Superlatives and they went into "Country Boy Rock and Roll" which is sung by Kenny Vaughan and Marty.
