Zhang Xiaojing is utterly baffled why Mao Shun would collaborate with Long Bo in making this destructive Lantern. Mao Shun tells of his reasons. The Emperor tells the Crown Prince to personally serve meat for everyone at the feast, and tells the Crown Prince to serve Lin Jiulang’s portion first. He offers the meat to Lin Jiulang, who lies about having to go to the toilet as he is scared of eating meat from the Crown Prince.
