The conclusion of the Lone Ranger origin story. After rescuing sherrif "Two Gun" Taylor, and Doc Drummond from Butch Cavendish, the Ranger learns his arch enemy has been killing off important men in the town of Colby, and replacing them with members of his gang. Using the Doc as a decoy, The Lone Ranger, Tonto, and the sheriff round up the Cavendish gang one by one. Finally, the Ranger chases after Cavendish himself, and has one final showdown with his brother's killer. And true to his vow, he doesn't kill the outlaw, but just shoots the gun from his hand, and takes him to jail. Once Cavendish is locked up, the Lone Ranger and Tonto ride away before they can be thanked. And the outlaw himself becomes the first of 219 people to ask, "Who was that masked man?"
