Seattle, day one: Ellie and Dina head for and into Seattle to track down Joels killers.
Seattle, day 1: Captured Ellie and Dina escape and head for the TV-station to find a girl called Lea. When soldiers invade the TV-station they have to make their way out.
Seattle, day 2: Sheltered at a theatre Ellie and Dina hear a radio transmition about Tommy being in Hillcrest. During an encounter with more soldiers she meets Jessie and they return to the theatre. In a flashback Ellie confronts Joel about the fireflies and the events at the hospital.
Ellie heads to the hospital, on her way she encounters and evades a group of Seraphites. At the hospital she meets Nora. In a flashback Ellie learns what really happened at the hospital.
Seattle, day 3: Jessie learns about Dina's pregnancy; Ellie and Jessie head to find Tommy, they separate when Ellie decides to chase Abby instead. By boat she reaches the aquarium. Back at the theatre Ellie, Dina, Jessie and Tommy get assaulted by Abby.
Seattle, day 1: Abby, Manny and Mel go on patrol. They get attacked by Seraphites and have to flee into a warehouse. Back at the WLF headquarters, Abby and Manny meet Isaac. In a flashback Abby and Owen explore the aquarium.
On her search for Owen Abby gets caught by Seraphites. Together with two outcast Seraphites, Yara and Lev, she escapes.
Seattle, day 2: Abby returns to Yara and Lev and takes them to the aquarium to have Mel take care of Yara's arm. Abby and Lev leave to find medical supplies. At the hospital Abby has to enter the hospital basement to find medical supplies.
Seattle, day 3: Lev runs away by boat to Seraphite island. To follow him, Abby and Yara have to find a boat. Abby meets Manny as they get attacked by a sniper. Abby and Yara find a boat and make for the island.
Abby enters thatre where she kills Jessie and shoots Tommie; she chases and fights Ellie, but when she finds out Dina is pregnant she leaves them alive. After Dina has given birth, Ellie and Dina live on a farm where they take care of the baby. But Ellie is haunted by the past, so she leaves to pursuit Abby. Abby and Lev reach Santa Barbara and try to contact the fireflies.
Ellie reaches Santa Barbara, where she defeats some Rattlers and learns they have taken Abby and keep her at a resort.
