Der erste Tag der kalten Zeit bricht an. Meister Plattnase erzählt den Kindern, dass es an diesem Tag an einer bestimmten Stelle des Großen Tals die ganz besonderen Hartes-Wasser-Baum-Naschereien gibt. Und so ziehen unsere Freunde los, um die zu finden. Spike hat dabei den richtigen Instinkt.
The series finale. Littlefoot, Ducky, Petrie and Chomper (followed by Hyp, Nod and Mutt) find a nest of Fast Biter eggs. They decide to carry the eggs away from the valley so the baby sharpteeth can grow up without eating anyone and set off on a journey into the mysterious beyond. They don't know that the mother sharptooth is in hot pursuit though, and she wants her eggs back at all costs.

El final de la serie. Littlefoot, Ducky, Petrie y Chomper (seguidos por Hyp, Nod y Mutt) encuentran un nido de huevos Fast Biter. Deciden llevar los huevos lejos del valle para que los bebés puedan crecer sin comer a nadie y emprender un viaje hacia el misterioso más allá. Sin embargo, no saben que el afilado de la madre está en una búsqueda ardua, y quiere que le devuelvan sus huevos a toda costa.
