Damit zu Hause alles bestens läuft, tischt Doug seiner Gattin gern mal eine kleine Lüge auf. Davon ist Carrie ganz und gar nicht begeistert: Nachdem sie Doug mit seinem Laster konfrontiert, schwört er, von nun ehrlich zu sein. Schnell merken die beiden, dass der ehrliche Weg vielleicht doch nicht immer der bessere ist.
Carrie gets tickets to an opera but Doug doesn't want to go so he has Deacon help him lie to get out of it. Carrie catches him in the lie which prompts Doug to confess to a series of lies he's been hiding. Doug then tells Carrie that the reason he's been lying is because she's too overbearing. They both agree to be "supportive" of one another but this only leads to more problems.
Doug inventa una menzogna per non andare all'opera con Carrie. Quando la moglie lo scopre, lui confessa di dire bugie per paura delle sue reazioni.
Doug fortæller Carrie at han nogle gange lyver for hende, fordi han er bange for hende, og de beslutter at være mere støttende overfor hinanden.
