When Monsters Meet

Dr. Banner und seine Freundin Betty sind in Paris. Banner soll einen Vortrag an der Wissenschaftlichen Akademie abhalten und Betty als Geheimagentin bei einem Goldtransport agieren. In der Kathedrale von Notre Dame treibt angeblich der Geist des Quasimodo sein Unwesen. Es ist aber nur der Ururururgroßenkel des berühmten Glöckners, der es auf das Gold abgesehen hat. Er entführt Betty, die sich aber während eines Kampfes zwischen Quasimado und Hulk wieder befreien kann. Dr. Banner bekommt von Professor Royale eine Chemikalie überreicht, die ihn davor bewahren soll, sich in den Hulk zu verwandeln. Dieses Serum überlässt er jedoch Quasimodo, um ihm zu helfen, wieder ein normaler Mensch zu werden. Die Wirkung tritt aber erst ein, als Quasimodo gerade dabei ist, den Goldtransport auszurauben. Er wird wieder normal.

In Paris, Bruce and Betty are meeting with the Academy of Science, with Betty carrying one of the gold keys that opens an underground gold vault. Quasimodo, the evil great-great-great- great-great-grandson of the original hunchback of Notre Dame, spies on Betty in order to steal the gold and plans on using one of the assembled scientists to turn him into a normal human. As Betty prepares to meet with the Minister of Finance in order to secure some of the U.S. government's gold deposits, Bruce is given a vial of a chemical that reverses radiation mutation by one of the other scientists, Professor Royale. As Betty goes to her meeting, she is kidnapped and taken underground by Quasimodo. Banner follows him and soon turns into the Hulk, losing the vial in the process. Quasimodo and the Hulk battle each other within an underground dungeon while Betty escapes from her prison. The monsters' battle then takes them to the streets of Paris, where Quasimodo eventually leads the Hulk to the Eiffel
