    David Brophy, former principal conductor of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra embarks on his mission to form Ireland's first homeless choir. He aims to form two choirs - one in Dublin and one in Waterford, both made up of homeless people and those who have been affected by homelessness. He hits the streets and contacts homeless charities in a bid to recruit members for both choirs. We see bonds grow and friendships develop as choir members discover their singing voices. Rehearsals begin in earnest as the choirs build towards their first public performances.

    The two choirs face their first public performances in Dublin's GPO and John Roberts Square in Waterford. David Brophy reveals to the choirs that their next challenge will be to join forces and record a charity single with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra. During rehearsals, the choir members get support and encouragement from Westlife's Shane Filan, chart-topper Ed Sheeran and The Voice of Ireland's judge Bressie. While the choir is recording their charity single in studio, Ed Sheeran pops in to give some last minute advice.

    The choir's charity single is released and there is much excitement as they are invited onto the Late Late Show to perform the song live on the show. David next reveals that the choir will be performing their very own charity gala concert in Dublin's spectacular Christchurch cathedral where they will be supported by Brian Kennedy and Lisa Hannigan. The rehearsals step up as the choir work on the repertoire of songs for the big event.
