The Head

The Head is the story of Jim, a trade-school student in New York City who awakens one morning to find that his cranium has enlarged to mammoth proportions. A week later, out bursts Roy, a little purple alien with an odd sense of humor who has taken up residence in Jim's head. Roy needed a place to stay to adapt to the Earth's environment while on a mission to save the world from a power-hungry alien named Gork. Aiding Jim and Roy are Jim's girlfriend, Madelyn; his personal physician, Dr. Richard Axel; and a group of "human anomalies." The theme of the story is to reinforce the value of diversity, tolerance, acceptance of differences, and working together to solve problems.

The Head es la historia de Jim, un estudiante de la escuela de oficios en la ciudad de Nueva York que se despierta una mañana y descubre que su cráneo se ha agrandado a proporciones gigantescas. Una semana más tarde, estalla Roy, un pequeño extraterrestre morado con un extraño sentido del humor que se ha instalado en la cabeza de Jim. Roy necesitaba un lugar donde quedarse para adaptarse al entorno de la Tierra mientras se encontraba en una misión para salvar al mundo de un extraterrestre hambriento de poder llamado Gork. Ayudando a Jim y Roy está la novia de Jim, Madelyn; su médico personal, el Dr. Richard Axel; y un grupo de "anomalías humanas". El tema de la historia es reforzar el valor de la diversidad, la tolerancia, la aceptación de las diferencias y el trabajo conjunto para resolver problemas.
