When the pair pay a visit to Captain Maguire, they are greeted by a strange woman who claims that Maguire has become one of the victims of Witch's Hollow. Those who go to the mysterious wooded place never return. Undaunted, Frank and Joe begin their search for Maguire, little suspecting the terrors that lie in wait for them among the dark shadows of the eerie forest.
Joe Hardy makes his singing debut at a disco where he and Frank become involved in a record piracy case. At the club, Frank recognizes a girl who supposedly has been missing for years. When she is arrested, the brothers embark on an investigation of a crooked disc jockey and other unscrupulous musical characters.
While in Hawaii for a surfing contest, the boys' hotel room is robbed and the two detectives discover that they're not the only victims who've been hit. The Hawaiian police enlist their aid in tracking down the burglars. Everyone's in for the surprise of their lives when the determined duo finally crack the criminal ring.
The Brothers become involved ia an unusual case of smuggling with an oriental flavor when they try to unravel the mystery that surrounds an ancient Chinese treasure. While snorkeling at the beach, Frank and Joe find an large unopened wooden box and take it home. When they discover that it contains a priceless, stolen Chinese statue, the two take off on a wild adventure that puts their lives in peril.
Nancy and her friends see a beam of light coming from an abandoned lighthouse. When they call the local sheriff, he thinks they're imagining things because the light has disappeared. It's up to Nancy to Expose the strange mystery that surrounds the desolate structure. Soon, she finds herself in a deadly web of crime that could threaten her very life.
After Nancy and her girlfriend, George, see an automobile run off the road. Nancy tells her boyfriend, Ned Nickerson, to report it to the sheriff. Later the sheriff tells Nancy that his men could not find any signs of an accident, and that the road has been closed for a long time. Nancy attempts to unravel the bizarre occurrence on her own, and soon finds herself in the midst of danger.
An unseen intruder breaks into the Drew home, stealing documents that will allow Nancy's aunts, Ruby and Lela, to sell their farm. While Nancy's father goes to the State Capitol to replace the papers, Nancy heads to the Farmhouse where she is plunged into a series of strange events that lead her deeper and deeper into danger.
The stage is set for mystery when Nancy and her friends decide to produce a 20 year old play in order to raise money for a youth center. The play is to be presented at the allegedly haunted Palace Theatre. When members of the original cast arrive in town, strange events begin to occur both onstage and off. Nancy must figure out why the actors have come together to appear in her modest production, or the drama might just end in real life tragedy.
