In this first episode we get to know the Harbour cast – from Matt & Chris the Harbourmasters to Phil the Tenby Lifeboat Coxwain and Noaomi the Turner prize winning artist who draws inspiration from the beauty of Tenby Harbour.
The Harbour community survive another winter with the festive craziness of the Boxing Day swim to light up the bleakness. Phil and the Lifeboat boys set about fundraising with their annual Car Wash and the big Boat Lift day – as the boats go back into the water and the Harbour is open for business.
The crowds arrive for the first big holiday weekend of the year and Whitsun holidays. Roger, the mackerel boatman’s first trip of the new season, Johanna visits her native Caldey Island, Noaomi the Artist goes out to sea to sketch and Phil and the Lifeboat spring into action!
The first big sporting event of early summer is Long Course Weekend - a three day triathlon festival which draws huge crowds and the Friday evening sea swim in an important night for Matt the Harbourmaster. Phil promotes a vital RNLI water safety campaign and the community gather at Johanna's Hope & Anchor pub for a big charity event - The Terry Herman Bass Fishing Auction.
The big holiday season and a vital time to get the tills ringing! Naomi goes painting on magical Caldey Island. Phil gets the Lifeboat station ready for the big Open Day but August storms and easterly winds play havoc with Roger and Daniel the Harbour boatmen.
Ironman Wales brings huge crowds to Tenby's North Beach. The second big boat lift of the year brings the boats out of the water and onto the quayside and signals the end of the season as the Harbour community recover and prepare to hibernate for another winter - as the life cycle of the Harbour continues for another year.
