Renowned western action hero Tex Bailey comes to Indian River with his son to shoot a black bear. The only problem is that he really isn't an expert woodsman. Joe ends up talking to the bear in his native tongue-Ojibway Indian- after Tex misfires his rifle and panics. The kids make his son Danny an honorary Junior Ranger.
