Galaxius, Freds außerirdischer Freund mit den magischen Kräften, hat einen guten Einfall: Er macht Fred für einen Tag zum Boß im Steinbruch. Fred muß die Erfahrung machen, daß leider auch Boße ihre Probleme haben.
Gazoo's intervention allows Fred to be boss of the quarry for the day, during which time he finds out there is more to the position than executive lunches and the feeling of power. At the end of the day, he realizes he would not really want to trade places with Mr. Slate.
L'intervention de Gazoo permet à Fred d'être le patron de la carrière pour la journée, période pendant laquelle il découvre que le poste ne se limite pas aux déjeuners de cadres et au sentiment de pouvoir. À la fin de la journée, il se rend compte qu'il ne voudrait pas vraiment échanger de place avec M. Slate.
