Comedy following the adventures of farmer Jim MacDonald, his tractorman Donnie and his mother Mary, as they struggle against the elements - and each other - on a farm in Perthshire. Jim is a proud man, often wounded but never beaten, who cares deeply about what he does. Mary is extremely hard to please and doesn’t mind delivering home truths. Donnie is loyal to a fault and always eager to please. In this episode, Jim tries to win some extra land but has trouble with a rambler.
