Terry Crews is proposing to his wife again. She finds this beautiful place, but he doesn't want to buy it. After a speech about how she hasn't asked him for anything, he decides to get the place.
Trying to live up to his newly renewed vows, Terry takes care of the kids for the day to give Rebecca a day to prepare for an upcoming event at a collegiate fundraiser as an emcee and performer. Terry manages to juggle all of the kids events but in the middle of it all, he's called for an audition for a long-awaited role.
After picking up Terry and Rebecca's parents from the airport, the family discovers that the area fires have moved closer to their house - causing their neighborhood to be evacuated. While on a tour of Beverly Hills, Naomi gets car sick. When they pull over amidst a beautiful sunset, she confesses to the family that she's pregnant with a girl.
Terry takes Isaiah to his first day of preschool and Wynfrey to her first day of school. He attempts to convince Isaiah to be excited about school, but without much success. Rebecca requests to be there when Terry takes them in, but after Terry arrives at the school late, he makes the executive decision to go in without her. When the kids go in, Isaiah has a complete meltdown and Rebecca later has a meltdown because she didn’t get to take Isaiah into the school herself. While the kids are in school, Terry and Rebecca grill their daughter Naomi and her boyfriend, Jorge, about their plans for the future now that a baby is on the way.
Terry assists Rebecca in her pursuit of an acting career by surprising her with a meeting with Robi Reed, an award-winning casting director. Rebecca's meeting results in her getting a talent manager. While Rebecca takes a major step in pursuing her dreams, Terry decides to hire a nanny to help with the kids. He also has a quick talk about what men really want with Azriel and her roommates.
Terry meets with the Wayans family to pitch his idea for a hilarious character named Jerome Mayberry and Naomi is run through a cosmetology bootcamp set up by Rebecca and run by Kiyah Wright, celebrity hair stylist.
Tera watches Wynfrey and Isaiah for the first time. Tera was tries to stop Wynfrey and Isaiah from playing around the house. Rebecca gets her first big audition and Terry wants to talk to Naomi at the baby store.
Azriel goes on a blind date named Blande, and Terry takes Jorge for shooting.
Terry and Rebecca went to a nightclub with an R&B open mic night. Jorge made Naomi spaghetti while talking about the upcoming birth of the baby. Terry was looking for an RV to take a trip to Connecticut.
The family are still on the trip in Malibu. Jorge decorates the house.
Terry returns from Connecticut, and the kids plan a surprise to welcome him back. Later, Rebecca shows off her talk-show pilot, but Terry's got big news that could trump everything
