Viva catches D’s eye when she strolls into Mum's long standing bike shop, Bykes - Home of D's iconic hair salon. Their meet-cute is interrupted by news that Mum is selling the store. What will happen to the Community D has built in her queer-friendly salon?
Quinn and Liam, the usual characters hanging out at D's, weigh in on the importance of saving the shop. There is a glimmer of hope as Viva returns for an appointment… but it’s not for herself.
Tension hangs in the air as D takes an appointment with Viva’s ex. Viva, inspired to help save the salon, offers to throw a fabulous fundraiser. D is coming around to the idea, until she stumbles across a scene downstairs.
It’s the last day in the shop as D packs up her belongings. Sadly she closes the doors for the last time. An unexpected visitor lends a helping hand.
With the party in full swing, D and Viva grow closer. A surprise guest sheds more light on Mum's motivation for selling the shop.
