Seven boys who were hired by a rancher to help him get his cattle to market return to the ranch with the money from the sale. The widow assumes the boys will go back to their families. But they would rather stay on at the ranch. The widow decides to think it over. The man who was hired to be the cook on the drive takes away their guns which they used on the men who killed the rancher. Later some men show up and demand the money the boys brought back, they take one of them hostage. The others wonder what are they going to do without guns but that's when one of them remembers the story of David and Goliath decides to follow suit
